name for equation?

Is there a name for partial differential equations of the form 2x2V=KtV ?

I believe this is the heat equation in one dimension. --RDBury (talk) 00:24, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
Thank you! That takes me to Parabolic partial differential equation, which is what I'm looking for. RJFJR (talk) 01:16, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
