How do you vocalise Knuth's up-arrow notation?
I was going to ask this on the article's Talk page but it was already asked a couple of years ago without response.
How do you vocalise Knuth's up-arrow notation? As in 2x2 = "Two by two", 2^2 = "Two to the power of two", = ? --87.224.68.42 (talk) 11:36, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- This guy says "2 double up-arrow 2" (at 4:14). --Wrongfilter (talk) 11:58, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- I've heard that, and I've also heard "two, up-up, two". "Up" is in the name, after all :D SemanticMantis (talk) 16:00, 18 August 2016 (UTC)
