Adam Guiseppi Carl
The History of Adam G. Carl
Adam has been influential in several places, traveled globally, and is in the process of writing an "amazing" book. He has let on that he plans on writing several others, with a genre ranging from fiction to historical fiction, and back to fiction again.
A Scam
He has another idea that he would wish to publish as a book called "You've been Scammed," which contains the text "you've been scammed" repeatedly for a total of 500 pages.1 Eviornmentalists have had some problems with this so called "waste of paper," but Adam assures the public that his intentions are to donate the funds generated from this book to the KAA (Koala Awareness Association).1
Animal Ranch
Adam often uses comedic parodies or other sources - primarily Jon Stewart - to fuel his imagination, and "Animal Ranch" is one of those cant-put-down novellas. 23It features a group of ranch animals that revolt, taking the ranch for the Animals, though this political satire has an intellectual twist; the pigs fufill the role of the humans!45

Having no connections to a sci-fi at all, this outlook on tehnology and forces of the universe puts a dim, and occasionally funny, perspective on things.6 This is, in part, based off of a real government conspiracy, created by the producers of Wormhole X-treme. 67"They are all a bunch of loonies, trust me, you dont want to know them with their crazy storyline," says Adam when interviewed about the producers of Wormhole X-treme.789
Influences
Adam has hinted at several sources for his inspiration, though, like most writers, he will be fuzzy on the origin of his brilliant storylines, contributing them to "blau Kaese," (whatever gibberish that is) while screaming at the top of his lungs "Geissenwurst!" Other than that, he says the Bare Naked Ladies, U2, and the movie Death to Smoochie were his driving motivations. "When I heard the songs, and saw the scenes, I couldnt help but be swayed into a life of writing."0

Fresno Metronews
Metronews was an alternative weekly newspaper published from 1983 to 1998 in Fresno, California which was noted for it's libertarian politics and strong criticism of city government, entertainment and arts coverage, and their provocative "It's A Crime" coverage of unusual police reports which often revealed embarrassing circumstances of those who were the subjects of the reports.
Published by Press Communications Inc. and edited by Marc Jackson, the 50,000 circulation periodical also contained rare interviews from numerous politicians as well as personalities as diverse as economist Milton Friedman, singer Peggy Lee, prostitute Stephanie Smith (who was charged with attempted murder because she was HIV positive), and others.
Due to the controversy often generated by the newspaper, several individuals attempted to stop the distribution of Metronews, and persuaded the City of Fresno to sue the newspaper publisher and editor under an ordinance which restricted the door-to-door distribution of newspapers and advertisements when the occupant of a residence posted a small "Do Not Deliver" sign.
Although independent carriers delivered Metronews and the newspaper had implemented procedures attempting to prevent delivery to addresses of people who had notified Metronews that they do not wish to receive the paper, the City of Fresno filed a complaint against Jackson and Press Communications to enjoin them from causing distribution of unauthorized newspapers to posted residences and from violating Fresno Municipal Code section 8-808. The City alleged Metronews repeatedly had caused unauthorized newspapers to be distributed in violation of the ordinance and threatened to continue such distribution. Metronews cross-complained alleging the ordinance was unconstitutional both on its face and as applied to the newspaper in this particular case, and sought to enjoin its enforcement.
Metronews filed a motion for summary judgment on both the complaint and cross-complaint. Metronews submitted evidence regarding the procedures it used to avoid any violation of the ordinance. The trial court granted summary judgment in favor of Metronews on the city's complaint when the city failed to present any evidence to support its claim that Metronews violated the ordinance. The court denied summary judgment on the cross-complaint, finding that although the ordinance was facially valid, there were triable issues of material fact regarding its constitutionality as applied to Metronews. Copies of Metronews were not introduced into evidence and the court concluded it could not decide the issue as a matter of law because it could not determine whether the paper was "commercial speech or political speech."
Following a trial, the court issued its decision in which it adopted the previous ruling that the ordinance was constitutional on its face and found "no evidence that said regulation is unconstitutional as applied to Metronews." The court entered judgment in favor of the city. Metronews appealed.
The appellate court overturned the trial court decision as violating the First Amendment.
In the case, the City of Fresno argued the delivery of religious literature or campaign literature is properly exempt from the ordinance because these categories of speech are entitled to a "higher degree of protection under the Constitution". Metronews strongly disagreed.
In City of Fresno v. Metronews, the Court sided with Metronews stating, "The possibility that speech may be "undesirable" or "unpopular" is not an acceptable basis for the government to curtail speech which is otherwise protected by the First Amendment. (citations) Furthermore, the trial court's reasoning is based upon an unproved assumption that advertisements and unsubscribed newspapers are universally less desirable and less popular than other types of written material (e.g., religious, political or charitable publications) that may be delivered to a home or business without the prior authorization of the occupant. Even assuming this could be shown, it requires a judgment based upon the relative value of the content of speech which is forbidden under the First Amendment. (citations)"
The court also awarded Metronews attorneys fees finding that the case "enforces constitutional rights necessarily affects the public interest and confers a significant benefit upon the general public."

Euenus
Euenus of Paros, was a fifth century philosopher and poet who was roughly contemporary with Socrates. Several fragments of his poetry exist in the Palatine Anthology and he is mentioned several times in Plato's Phaedo, Phaedrus (dialogue), and Apology of Socrates. He was apparently, although obscure, well respected, and was never called a Sophist by Socrates, even though he charged a sizeable sum for teaching students.

Oscillating U-tube

With the oscillating U-tube principle, the density of liquids and gases is determined based on an electronic measurement of the frequency of oscillation, from which the density value is calculated. This measuring principle is based on the Mass-Spring Model.
The sample is filled into a container with oscillation capacity. The eigenfrequency of this container is influenced by the sample’s mass. This container with oscillation capacity is a hollow, U-shaped glass tube (oscillating U-tube) which is electronically excited into undamped oscillation (at the lowest possible amplitude). The two branches of the U-shaped oscillator function as its spring elements.
The direction of oscillation is normal to the level of the two branches. The oscillator’s eigenfrequency is only influenced by the part of the sample that is actually involved in the oscillation. The volume involved in the oscillation is limited by the stationary oscillation knots at the bearing points of the oscillator. If the oscillator is at least filled up to its bearing points, the same precisely defined volume always participates in the oscillation, thus the sample’s mass can be considered proportional to its density.
Overfilling the oscillator beyond the bearing points is irrelevant to the measurement. For this reason the oscillator can also be employed to measure the density of sample media that flow through the tube (Continuous Measurement).
In the digital density meter, the mechanic oscillation of the U-tube is e.g. electromagnetically transformed into an alternating voltage of the same frequency. The period τ can be measured with high resolution and stands in simple relation to the density ρ of the sample in the oscillator:
A and B are the respective instrument constants of each oscillator. Their values are determined by calibrating with two substances of the precisely known densities ρ1 and ρ2. Modern instruments calculate and store the constants A and B after the two calibration measurements, which are mostly performed with air and water. They employ suitable measures to compensate various parasitic influences on the measuring result, e.g. the influence of the sample’s viscosity and the non-linearity caused by the measuring instrument’s finite mass.
In 1967 the company Anton Paar GmbH presented the first digital density meter for liquids and gases at ACHEMA. It was the first instrument to employ the oscillating U-tube principle by Dr. Hans Stabinger and Prof. Hans Leopold for density determination.

The Original Pussycats
Australia's PCD - The original sensation
It has long been questioned that America's music industry has influenced the rest of the western world, however it's interesting to note that the hit sensation "The Pussycat Doll's" known worldwide for it's raunchy, sexy songs and filmclips, however 3 transvestites from Australia it would appear have been doing it for years. Long before "Priscilla - Queen of the Desert, these pussycat's with d*icks, have been strutting their stuff. Along with other well known groups, this era and form of entertainment seems to be having a revival in the australian industry, coming back to it's roots it would seem.
This is evident by nationwide tours of the musical "Priscilla - Queen of the Desert" and other well known shows such as "Carlotta & the Lady-boys".

Royal Ipoh Club
History
The Royal Ipoh Club is now 112 years old. It may have been established much earlier than 1895 but records of its history were lost during the Japanese Occupation during World War 2.
The premise was used by the Japanese Imperial Army as a laundry house for the officers living at the nearby St. Michael’s Institution. It is claimed that even the Club’s pride, the original “Long Bar” was used as fuel for the laundry. However, the age of the Royal Ipoh Club was fixed by its Management Committee in 1972, based on the establishment of one of the oldest British companies, Osborne and Chapel International, in this historical City That The Tin Built. The Management Committee could only guess and agree on the year as Osborne and Chapel was established about that time.
Its white-and-black clubhouse is one of the old landmarks overlooking the Ipoh Padang, which was set up with contributions from the public in 1898 in commemoration of Queen Victoria’s Coronation. The building has since been aptly declared as one of the heritage buildings in the city.
The ruling British selfishly kept the Club membership completely for the “Whites” as in their colonies. The very first Malaysian to be invited to use the Club was of course the then Sultan of Perak. It was only after the country attained independence in 1957, more and more Malaysians were gradually admitted as members. The first Malaysian to become member of the Club was Eu Tong Sen, a tin miner. Eu was also the donor of the present “Long Bar”, which was cut from a single tree. Subsequently, the first Asian was elected as President of the Club in 1959. He was Mr. Lim Chen Chuan. It marked the beginning of the new era of the Royal Ipoh Club with Malaysians taking over the helm of the once colonial preserve.
Now the Club, which has the Sultan of Perak, D.Y.M.M. Paduka Seri Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah and the Raja Muda of Perak, D.Y.T.M. Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah as its Royal Patrons, can be a pride of all members irrespective of race and religion. There is no longer any discrimination against anyone. It is also undoubtedly the most suitable social club in the city, where people of various walks of life can integrate. It is conveniently located in the Old Town Sector and provides various facilities for good clubbing. As such, it has become a focal point of most social and sports’ activities in the city.

Delta Chi Zeta
History
Delta Chi Zeta, a local sorority at Belmont Abbey College, was established as a local sorority December 6, 2006 as a community service based sorority. In the beginning Delta Chi Zeta faced great challenges in becoming a sorority. With 3 other sororities on campus, the idea of a new "competitor" was frightening to other sororities. The first official meeting was held at honorary sister Elizabeth Janson's apartment, Cuthbert Allen Apartment 205. While trying to hold the meeting several of the sororities sat outside the apartment yelling and screaming, knocking on the apartment door, and trying to prevent the meeting from happening. After Delta Chi Zeta was approved by the student government association (SGA), DXZ proceeded to gain approval to be a sorority at the Greek Council. The Greek council took a vote and decided that Delta Chi Zeta could not be a local sorority on campus. However, the Director of Student Activities advised DXZ's president/founding sister, Amy Morris, to write a letter of appeal and turn it in to her within one week and she and the President of Belmont Abbey, William Thierfelder, would either keep Greek Council's decision or turn over the decision, allowing Delta Chi Zeta to be a local sorority at Belmont Abbey College. A month and a half later, December 6, 2006, President of DXZ, Amy Morris, recieved a letter granting DXZ permission to be a local sorority at Belmont Abbey College. Delta Chi Zeta went on to be the winners of the 2007 Greek Week for the sororities. To date, Delta Chi Zeta is the largest Greek organization at Belmont Abbey College.

Japasaurus Rex
As many of you may know, the Japasaurus Rex has been roaming the earth for at least fourteen years now.
Characteristics include: medium long, blonde hair presumably cute face (sources have told us) medium in size according to age) fashionably retarded responds to the name "Breanne 'Jap' Wise"
According to sources, the Japasaurus Rex can grow to be at least 50 ft. tall. Its mouth is filled with dozens of razor sharp "Jap Fangs." They normally do not attack humans unless agitated or in order to protect one's rice. There are few Japasaurus Rexes in the world, making them an endangered species, and therefore we cannot disclose the whereabouts to one known remaining. One was last seen in a local Giant grocery store just outside Millerstown, Pennsylvania.
When near a Japasaurus Rex, do not panic. They respond to movement. Some say that making a blood sacrifice of your first born son offers some protection against their wrath. In the event that a Japasaurus Rex does site you, it will give warning primal grunts. Do not respond. They are only warnings. Now defensive mechanisms consist of various attacks with their hind claws.

Taylor Pearlman
Taylor Pearlman, a semi popular name for God, most commonly used in upstate New York. According to some religious figureheads, God will manifest himself on Earth for the span of a human life, simular to the way Jesus appeared. If God observes widespread human cruelty and nonbelief, the apoculpse will occur. It is unknown why Gods human forms name will be Taylor Pearlman, but usually assured.
