[glycine cleavage system H]-N6-octanoyl-L-lysine + [lipoyl-carrier protein] ⇌ glycine cleavage system H + [lipoyl-carrier protein]-N6-octanoyl-L-lysine

This enzyme is purified from the bacterium Bacillus subtilis.
