This enzyme belongs to the family of hydrolases, specifically those glycosidases that hydrolyse O- and S-glycosyl compounds. The systematic name of this enzyme class is 3-D-glucuronsyl-N²,6-disulfo-β-D-glucosamine glucuronohydrolase.
