Deutsch: Im Mai 2023 stellten David Smith, Joseph Samuel Myers, Craig S. Kaplan, und Chaim Goodman-Strauss eine Lösung für das Einstein-Problem aus der Diskreten Geometrie vor. Mit der sogenannten Spectre-Kachel, die sich in ihrer äußeren Form variabel gestalten lässt, kann die Ebene ausschließlich nichtperiodisch parkettiert werden, wobei nur ebene Drehungen und Verschiebungen benötigt werden.
