- L-dopa + 2 NADH 3,4-dihydroxyphenylpropanoate + 2 NAD+ + NH3
This enzyme participates in L-phenylalanine catabolism in the anaerobic phototrophic bacterium Rhodobacter sphaeroides OU5.
