Template:Short description Template:See also Template:Infobox enzyme In enzymology, a (+)-borneol dehydrogenase (Template:EC number) is an enzyme that increases the rate of, or catalyzes, the chemical reaction

(+)-borneol + NADTemplate:Sup (+)-camphor + NADH + HTemplate:Sup

Thus, the two substrates of this enzyme are (+)-borneol and [[nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide|NADTemplate:Sup]], whereas its 3 products are (+)-camphor, NADH, and [[hydrogen ion|HTemplate:Sup]].

This enzyme belongs to the family of oxidoreductases, specifically those acting on the CH-OH group of donor with NADTemplate:Sup or NADPTemplate:Sup as acceptor. The systematic name of this enzyme class is (+)-borneol:NADTemplate:Sup oxidoreductase. This enzyme is also called bicyclic monoterpenol dehydrogenase.
