'Ch. II 'Fig. 35 A Variable Stroke Engine

A piston engine (gasoline) with a stroke that may be adjusted whilst the engine is running. The crankshaft stroke remains constant, but an adjustable linkage between this and the piston connecting rod allows adjustment.
