    Description
English: Southern Surveyor voyage 04-93, June 1993 image 3: night-time EZ net retrieval (2). Photo credit: Tony Rees. The EZ Net ("Easy Zooplankton Net", a commercial version of the BIONESS sampling unit) is a multiple opening and closing plankton net system comprising ten 335-micron nets (on this occasion) in a 1x1 meter frame which can be electronically opened and closed at different depths in the ocean to sample the zooplankton, and also contains associated instruments for monitoring water conditions.
