    Summary

    Description
English: Proposed world ship based on Stanford Torus, as described in 2012 paper World Ships – Architectures & Feasibility Revisited, by Hein, Andreas M.; Pak, Mikhail; Pütz, Daniel; Bühler, Christian; Reiss, Philipp.

Combined with the detailed design of Stanford Torus, from Space Settlements: A Design Study book, by Richard D. Johnson and Charles H. Holbrow, extrapolated to the modified version of the Stanford Torus used in the proposed world ship.

All the information used to create this diagram was present at Stanford Torus English Wikipedia article, at the date when this diagram was created. The exact disposition of the internal elements, when not specified in Space Settlements: A Design Study, is provided as an example, but the data about area and volume use (per population) for each purpose always comes from that book. Note: the book specifies the area for parks, swimming, golf, playgrounds and zoo, jointly as "public open space".
