Français : Hodographe typique associé avec le changement linéaire des vents avec l'altitude dans un orage multicellulaire. Les cellules orageuses individuelles dans le groupe se déplacent dans la direction du cisaillement dans la couche alors que la ligne orageuse se déplacent dans la direction et à la vitesse du vent moyen dans la couche.
English: Typical hodograph of a multicellular cluster, a group of cells in different stages of development. It shows usually a "straight-line" (unidirectional) wind shear indicating speed and/or directional shear conducive for MCSs. The complex moves with the mean wind while individual cells move along the shear.
