Summary
| Description | The HP-65 was the first Programmable Pocket Calculator in the World in 1974. It had a card reader to store programs on magnetic cards, see one in upper left corner. Steve Wozniak, one of the founders of Apple computer, sold his HP-65 to have the founding capital. The HP-65 was also used in space, e.g. during the US-Soviet Apollo-Sojus test project ASTP in 1975. Thus, it was also the first programmable calculator in space. |
