Description
Portrait of a man carrying a wild boar's head. The subject is a smiling grey-haired, brown-eyed man in a fur-trimmed reddish brown coat girded with a lilac sash and a fur-trimmed crimson cap, standing against a greenish brown background and carrying in both hands a plate with a boar's head adorned with twigs and flowers. Art historian Aneta Biały has suggested the subject's identification as Paul Tremo, head chef to King Stanislaus Augustus of Poland.
