Français : Énergie cyclonique accumulée des cyclones tropicaux (ACE) est un indice utilisé pour mesurer l'activité d'une saison cyclonique. Il combine le nombre de systèmes cycloniques, leur durée d'existence et leur intensité. Il est calculé en mettant au carré le vent de surface maximum soutenu dans le système toutes les six heures pendant lesquelles le cyclone est une tempête nommée et en le résumant pour la saison. Dans ce graphique, on a les données pour l'Atlantique Nord depuis 1851.
Español: La energía acumulada de ciclones tropicales (ACE) es un índice utilizado para medir la actividad de una temporada de huracanes. Combina el número de sistemas de huracanes, su duración de existencia y su intensidad. Se calcula elevando al cuadrado el viento superficial máximo sostenido en el sistema por cada seis horas en que el ciclón es una tormenta con nombre y sumándolo para la temporada. En este gráfico, tenemos datos para el Atlántico Norte desde 1851.
Português: A energia acumulada de ciclones tropicais (ACE) é um índice usado para medir a atividade de uma temporada de furacões. Ele combina o número de sistemas de furacões, sua duração de existência e sua intensidade. É calculado elevando ao quadrado o vento de superfície máximo sustentado no sistema para cada seis horas em que o ciclone é uma tempestade nomeada e somando-o para a estação. Neste gráfico, temos dados para o Atlântico Norte desde 1851.
