Hungerford and page 1 of seventh edition of Elementary Number Theory by David M. Burton. Both books, like many others, state that the well-ordering principle apply to all nonnegative integers rather than just the positive integers as wrongly written: the zero must be included (otherwise how can you prove the division theorem?)!
